15 – Update 2 – Local Govt Assoc 2018 Campaign
Attention ALL Victorians!
Dear fellow Victorians,
It seems that those within our Parliament are attempting to steal our land by covertly introducing Climate Change policies upon the population using the well established Victorian Energy Efficiency Target 2007 (VEET Scheme) legislation, together with the proposed Local Government Act 2018 bill.
I wrote about the dangers of this https://www.larryhannigan.com.au/government-state/13-victorian-local-government-act-2018-submissions/ and followed that up with the mail out that included the ‘Submission Comments file that the Minister for Local Government Ms Marlene Kairouz MP responded to. I countered her claims and these were posted by me .
Since then I have received two responses from local MPs that are reproduced below.

The common point noticed from both statements is that each MP from the Liberal and Labor parties have failed to address even one of the many points made in the Submission Comments document sent to them.
I have concluded that they prefer to treat ALL Victorians who wrote to tem as idiots, and expect us to simply trust in them to do the right thing. NEVER!
It is now more than 7 days since Ms Kairouz and her representative received my email. I believe this is an indication she is refusing to take responsibility for what she has produced as draft legislation, which is unacceptable to me, and should be to you.
I have decided to create another email campaign focussed on the Minister for Local Government that includes the 20 Andrews Government Cabinet members, together with the Shadow Minister for Local Government and Matthew Guy’s 18 Shadow Cabinet members.
Therefore this email includes two attached document templates addressed to the respective ministers.
If you want to become involved in this campaign to demand answers to our questions, then all you have to do is this:
Place your name, home address and email address on the last page of each document;
Email each document to the ministers.
Its that simple, yet doing this will have a huge impact on making the government accountable for the legislation they are creating, which if passed will adversely affect every Victorian’s lifestyle and well being in the future.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS
I am unable to stand up to the government about this issue on my own.
I need as many Victorians as I can to support this campaign that DEMANDS the politicians provide answers to Victorians to the questions WE are asking.
If We the People cannot obtain the answers from them at this time, there will NOT be another opportunity like this in the future. The time to ACT is NOW!

Open each document and on the last page:
Type your name and home address is it would appear on the electoral roll.
Add the email address you would like to receive a reply to.
Add the date that you will Send the document and Save it.
Open up a new email:
In the To: box, copy the email address below and paste it in.
In the Cc: box, mark, copy and paste the following list of Daniel Andrews’ Cabinet members:
Please note that I have added my own email address so that I can keep a tally of how many emails the ministers are receiving.
In the TITLE box copy and paste this text: Questions about the Local Government Act 2018
