Parliament rose yesterday possibly for the last time before the election. Senator Simon Birmingham must have thought so, because the Liberal veteran announced his retirement in the morning and then in the afternoon was on his feet giving his valedictory speech. Few politicians have done more damage to the cause of family, faith, freedom and life than Simon Birmingham. As we’ve blogged, the real enemies of your family are not the Greens, Labor or Teals, they are the so-called “moderates” within the Liberal and National parties. The valedictory speeches given in this sitting fortnight and the rush of legislation are a tell that Albanese is clearing the decks for a possible early election. This means Family First must be on a war footing. Our campaign directors are now recruiting lower house candidates to counter the Simon Birminghams who control the Liberal party.
These “moderates” are undermining your family and the safety of your children and grandchildren. They are why Family First is in the political fight for the soul of our nation. There is enormous value in having Family First on the ballot – it sends a powerful message to the “moderates” that there is a political movement willing to fight for what matters. The more candidates we can have in the field before Christmas, the better. Please consider your involvement – you can do as little or as much as you like. In other news, NSW faced blackouts this week because Liberal and Labor governments sacrificed cheap and reliable power supply sources to the climate gods. Family First has argued for years that nothing should have been shut down until like-for-like replacement was in place. On ADH TV this week, I had the privilege of interviewing former Australian journalist Bernard Lane about the rolling medical scandal of Australia’s child gender clinics. Lane is in no doubt they are lawyering up to face possible future medical negligence cases from harmed children. No, Trump is not a Scottish Rite (33rd degree) Freemason. To join the Scottish Rite, a man must first be a Master Mason (3rd degree) and member of a local Masonic Lodge (Blue Lodge). To join a Masonic Lodge, a man must petition a Lodge and be recommended by two endorsers who are Master Masons. Then a committee is appointed to determine whether the applicant is a man of sufficient character and integrity to be considered for membership. The motto of the Lodge is, “Making Good Men Better.” To make a good man better, it helps to start with a “good man.” If the committee issues a favourable report on the applicant, his application is put to a vote of the Lodge membership. But Lodge membership is never for sale and anyone who made such an offer would only confirm the rightness of the decision to black ball him.
